SITE:
Mission Valley High School Road. From I-70 West ofTopeka use exit #353 and go South on Highway K-4 to Auburn, KS. Turn right on SW 89th Street (follow signs for Mission Valley High School). Take SW 89th Street West 8 miles and bear left as road becomes Harveyville Road. Continue South 1.5 miles to Mission Valley Road and turn Right (again follow signs for Mission Valley High School). Travel 2 miles to the High School and parking lot on your right. Click here for directions.

Registration/Check-in: 8:00 - 9:30 a.m.Riders Meeting: 9:45 a.m.First Team Off: 10:00 a.m.

$70 per three person team

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

The course is a 20K out and back with TWO turnarounds which begins and ends at the High School. Road surface is super smooth and rolling. There will be crosswinds, bank on it! Click here for race map.
 

COMPETITION FORMAT:

  • Teams are composed of 3 riders. Members of the team do not need to be from the same racing club.
  • First team off at 10:00 a.m. sharp based on the grid below.
  • Teams will then go off at two minute intervals.
  • Finish time will be taken on last rider (3rd man/woman) accross the line.
  • USAC Event Permit # 2012-1115. All USAC rules apply.
  • USAC license required.
  • One day license available for $10.00.
  • Race held rain or shine (promoter reserves the right to alter or delay start times due to severe weather).
  • CPSC approved helmets must be worn by all participants at all times while on a moving bicycle.
  • Merckx Division denotes a standard road bike with no aero equipment. Meaning no aero bars, aero frames, disc wheels, deep dish wheels greater than 50mm, or aero helmets. Skinsuits will be allowed, but goes against the spirit of the category.
  • Coed Division must have at least one female rider.
