Online registration is now open. Pre-registration will close at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 8. Race day registration will open at 8:30 am in the Hummer Sports Park Natatorium. Registration for each event closes 30 minutes prior to the posted race start time.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Quickly becoming one of the most destined cross courses in the Midwest, for the second consecutive year the Sunflower State Games is proud to host the 2011 Kansas State Cyclocross Championship. As always, the course will involve mainly grass, some pavement, and the dreaded "Mound of Mercy" to test your cornering and running skills. This race will also serve as Round #5 of the Series 60 CX. Course will be open to pre-ride at 9:00 am on race day. Nationally renown race announcer John Lefler will be on hand with his silky smooth voice and rocking tunes!
RACE RULES & INFORMATION:
- Held under USA Cycling Event Permit #2011-3540. All USAC Cyclocross rules apply
- USAC license required for all riders
- Annual license must be held for KS State Championship Medals
- One day licenses available for $10.00
- Race is part of the KBCXR/KBCXT and counts 1.5 points
- Events will be held regardless of inclement weather
- CPSC approved helmets required for all events and must be worn at all times
- Mountain bikes are allowed with no bar ends
- Entry fee includes $3.00 to the USAC for insurance and $1.00 surcharge to KCA
- Locker-room with hot showers and concessions will be available at the Hummer Sports Park Natatorium. Heated warm-up and staging tents will also be available.
