EVENT
FORMAT:
Fishing will be divided into three age groups. All groups will fish together. The winner of each age group will be determined by the length of the longest fish. Participants may use only one rod and reel. You must provide your own rod and reel. Some assorted tackle will be provided. Participants are encouraged to bring their own tackle and bait. Officials will be on site to measure fish, take fish off hooks, etc. All participants must check in at the site at least 15 minutes prior to the start of competition. All age groups fish from 8:00-9:30 a.m. Parents are encouraged to be spectators only. Parents may only assist their children in baiting the line. Medals will be awarded after each age has finished the competition. Kansas Wildlife & Parks staff will be available to assist participants.
