COMPETITION FORMAT:
The Time Trial will be centered around and on the super smooth HPT Road Course. Course distance will be 10K and includes several turns, a trip through a tunnel, and even one run down the HPT drag strip. Added bonus, the course is totally closed. Beginners will race Male Cat 5 or Female Cat 4.
- Held under USA Cycling Event Permit #TBA.
- All USAC rules apply.
- USAC license required.
- One day USAC license available for $10.
- Fees include $3 for USAC insurance and $1 for KCA surcharge.
- Race will be held rain or shine (barring severe weather).
- CPSC approved helmets must be worn by all participants while riding at any time during this event.
- Distances may change if weather conditions become severe.
- These races are part of the KBAR/KBAT.
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
Riders will go off at thirty second intervals beginning at 6:30 p.m. based on Cat classifications, starting with Cat 3 Men, followed by the Women and Juniors. Start times will be posted shortly after registration closes. Click here for the 2012 Time Trial Flyer.

COMPETITION FORMAT:
Click here for long course map. Click here for the short course map. Please note: Disregard the verbiage on the map stating that the race starts in Wakarusa. Courses are one big loop starting near Gate E of Heartland Park Topeka. Short and Long Course are 24 miles and 47 miles in length respectively. Short course shares approximately 80% of the same roads as the long course. Route is rolling with several challenging climbs on the West side of Clinton Lake. The first three miles to Berryton Road will be neutral. Neutral Feed Zone with bottles provided for the long course. The last seven miles of both courses are the same as in years past.
