COMPETITION FORMAT:
The Sunflower State Games Cheerleading competition is the perfect experience for every cheerleader (male and female) and every team! We look forward to offering a competition for every type of squad. This event provides an opportunity for all teams, ranging from the novice squad competing for the first time, to the experienced teams getting started for the season. All types of teams are invited. Squads that develop for the purpose of this competition and recreational teams that usually only support other recreational sports will enjoy the benefit of the competitive aspect of cheer. All-star squads and school aged groups can bring squads together in preparing for the upcoming season. This is a great opportunity to compete at your own experience level. Squads, small groups and individuals will compete in age and ability based divisions, will be judged on technique, stunts, tumbling, dance, synchronization and showmanship. Each division will have a champion as well as overall and specialty awards. The top three in each division will recieve Gold, Silver and Bronze medals.
